EFT Level 1 What to Expect:

Before class begins, you’ll find online documents to read and digest, along with a 'classroom expectation’ agreement and a tiny query about your journey with EFT to date and your goals for the foundations class.  You can expect to spend a couple of hours between the weekend classes looking at hand-outs that reinforce the in-class learning and deepen your understanding of the principles at work. Level 1 presents the foundations for the rest of the entire EFT collection of tools, techniques and concepts, along with its history and basic understanding of the science of Tapping. 

The intention of Level 1 is to have a satisfying experience with EFT Tapping for yourself, primarily as a brilliant way to self-regulate and clarify your thoughts and learned patterns.  Secondly we turn our attention to understanding how you can begin appropriately offering and explaining the work to someone else.  Level 1 is a 2-day course alone, or may be taken as a 3-4 day course that encompasses Level 1 & 2.

In Level 1 we’ll briefly cover a lot of areas where EFT can be very effectively used, such as for cravings, basic pain symptoms, emotional overwhelm and how to approach issues with safety, curiosity and compassion. You’ll be introduced to basic concepts about change, beliefs, ’sabotage’ and how our natural body and brain design handles trauma impact and storage. You’ll also learn things about how to apply EFT most effectively - being very specific, staying on-task, understanding how to manage shifting thoughts and details, and how to use words in Tapping for best results. Lastly, we’ll experience how to our ’stories’ and memories with foundational EFT processing techniques.  

Completing this class will result in a certificate of attendance, which asserts that you’ve completed foundational training and practice of at least 12 hours, but is not a certification. Level 1 is the pre-requisite for taking the Level 2 course, which focuses on the effective application of EFT; completion of Level 2 coursework entitles attendees to begin the accredited EFT Certification process. 

EFT Level 2 What to Expect:

After completion and some practice with the Level 1 material, you are welcomed into the Level 2 class, focused upon the safe and effective application of EFT tools and techniques for real-world issues. Expansion on Level 1 topics and techniques introduced through use of techniques specifically targeting thorough processing with consciously gentle approaches. Replicable demonstrations and application practice sessions continue throughout the Level 2, with ample opportunities for Q&A to ensure individual understanding. 

More specific attention to handling the impact of common traumatic events, and greater awareness of the role of the practitioner in supporting those experiences and their aftermath. The art of questioning and detective work*, crucial importance of the client’s own words and perspective, and practitioner’s self-awareness during EFT session interactions are stressed at all times.  Gary Craig’s Palace of Possibilities concept is discussed, in order to more compassionately understand our individual conditioning and development of belief systems and core issues, and how clearing follows, along with a more in-depth experience with the twin processors, Tell the Story and variations of The Movie Technique are emphasized. Learn more about using EFT with specific populations, such as children, animals and introducing it within groups, using the phone and online. Concluding the class are discussions of the scope of practice within EFT, using it professionally, and the accredited, certification process available through the original EFT association and leader in global training standards, EFT International.
